Application

We welcome applicants from anywhere in the world. Summer school primarily aims to graduate students (Masters and PhD).
Please send us a letter of application with the following information:

Abstract of Work - limit: 1 page

Students poster session

All participants are required to bring a poster to summer school.
All posters will take part in a poster competition.

Tuition fee

Early registration: 300 €
Late registration: 350 € (Application after June 1st or payment after June 30th)

The fee includes:

Courses and course material
Computer access to university PCs
Campus-wide hot spots for laptops
Lunch and Coffee Breaks
Social Events
Administration, information, on-site help.

Scholarships

Fee waivers

The SSMS 09 offers a limited number of student fee waivers that cover the registration fee for the summer school.

PetaMedia Grants

PetaMedia provides six grants à 700 € to PhD students.

Registration Alongside the confirmation of your participation you will receive a link to complete registration and make your payment.

Important dates

Following deadlines have to be kept:
Applications are welcome as long places on the summer school are open.
02 June 2009 - Notification of participation - Opening of registration
15 June 2009 - Early Registration
Payment has to be done within 14 days after registration, at the latest on desk.
